Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Certain CTE courses qualify for dual enrollment, and will allow students to earn both HS and college credit simultaneously. In order to take these courses students may need to meet the college requirements for taking the courses (usually pass the college reading assessment). In addition if they would like to earn college credit, they will need to enroll in Central Arizona College, and will need to pay the college tuition for the course directly to the college. For a detailed list of which of these courses qualify for college credit and to see the requirements to get this credit, contact a Guidance Counselor or the District Career and Technical Education Coordinator.
