(CGUHS) The third Senior Spotlight for Trap & Skeet Club goes to Ramon Gonzales. Ramon is a first-year member of our club and is also our first athlete to be graduating from Vista Grande High School.
These are his plans after high school:
"I plan to attend Arizona State University and study Automotive Engineering. I hope to bring a renaissance in automotive design. Some of the clubs I participate in are being an Eagle Scout, Thespian Society President, Student Council Senator, and Football Statistician and former player. One of my favorite memories, while participating in this club, is that at one of the stations on the Skeet Range at Ben Avery I managed to hit the clay right as it came out of the house. It was really cool to see it break so fast. My favorite memory with team members was when me and my father made an attachment for Roman's prosthetic arm to better fit the gun. Working with him to create a better design helped us all feel more like a team."
Thank you, Ramon, for joining our team this year and bringing us your radiant energy. Your enthusiasm to get out on the field and positive attitude towards other athletes is always something that we coaches look forward to seeing from you. We will miss you very much and are very thankful that you joined our team during your senior year.
We wish you the best of luck on everything you do and hope to see you accomplish your goals!
